BCA (bicinchoninic acid), total protein quantification reagents. BCA method is superior to Lowry method and Coomassie method (Bradford method) for total protein quantitative methods. BCA method has become a classic method of protein quantification for its rapid sensitivity, stability, reliability, and small coefficient of variation during detection of different types of proteins. Micro BCA is able to detect 0.5μg/ml trace protein and is known as one of the most sensitive protein detection methods.
Main features: accurate and sensitive: the protein determination range of BCA reagent is 20-2000μg/ml, it is able to detect 5μg/ml if strengthened; measurement range of MicroBCA reagent is 0.5-20μg/ml;
Fast: it only costs 45 minutes to complete the determination; it is 4 times faster than the historical Lowry method and it is much more convenient.;
Economic and practical: In addition to test tube, the measurement can be carried out in microplates and it will greatly save the sample and reagent consumption;
Free from ionic and non-ionic detergents; insoluble in reductants and metal ions.
Smaller coefficient of variation than coomassie blue staining in the detection of different protein molecules;
Flexible: detection sensitivity differs with temperature and time.
